Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Revitaligy, LLC d/b/a Novelmancer(“Novelmancer,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our web service for designing, generating, and downloading long-form fiction (the “Service”).

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address. We use a magic-code login flow, so we do not store passwords.
• Payment information. Billing is processed by Stripe. We receive a Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and the prices you purchased; we do not see or store full card numbers.
• Content you create. Story prompts, design choices, generated outlines and chapters, edits, and cover images you produce on the Service.
• Anonymous-session data. Before you sign up we set a random session token in a cookie so that any work you start can be claimed by your account when you create one.
• Usage data. Aggregate page-view and event analytics via Vercel Web Analytics, plus standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request paths, timestamps).

How we use information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
• To send transactional emails such as login codes and receipts.
• To understand product usage in aggregate.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf, and only as needed to run the Service:

• Stripe— payment processing.
• Instant (instantdb.com)— authentication, database, and storage.
• Vercel— hosting, web analytics, and (for AI-generation features) the Vercel AI Gateway, which routes prompts to upstream model providers.
• AI model providers— companies whose models generate your story content. Prompts and generated text are sent to these providers solely to produce your output.
• Email delivery providers— for transactional email (e.g. login codes).

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Your content

You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and the stories, outlines, and covers generated for you. We do not use your content to train models. We do request that AI providers not use your prompts for training where they support that option.

Your choices

• Access and deletion. Email support@novelmancer.co to request a copy of your data or to delete your account. We will honor these requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Marketing email. We currently send only transactional email.
• Cookies. You can clear our anonymous-session cookie at any time from your browser settings.

Data retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. We retain payment and tax records as required by applicable law. After account deletion we delete or anonymize remaining data on a rolling basis.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International users

Novelmancer is operated from the United States. By using the Service you consent to processing of your information in the United States and any country where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
